Heraklion Airport HER · Crete

About

aeroportheraklion.fr is an independent English-language portal dedicated to Heraklion International Airport Nikos Kazantzakis (HER). Our goal: to provide English-speaking travelers with clear, up-to-date, practical information to prepare for their journey through this major Crete hub.

Our mission

Every year, more than 8 million passengers pass through Heraklion Airport. Among them, a growing number of English-speaking travelers are looking for reliable information before they leave: how to get around from the terminal, rent a car at the best price, book a transfer to Chersonissos or Malia, or check real-time flight schedules.

Our portal centralizes this information in a simple, mobile-friendly format without intrusive advertising. We work with selected partners to offer the best car rental and transfer deals, while remaining fully editorially independent.

Who we are

aeroportheraklion.fr is published by a team passionate about travel and aviation. We know Crete well and regularly test the services and transport options we recommend. Information is updated as terminal facilities, transport schedules, and partner offers change.

Business model

This site is funded by the commission received from our partners when you make a booking through our affiliate links: Localrent for car rental and Kiwitaxi for transfers. This commission is paid by the partner and never increases the price you pay — the rate remains strictly identical to the one shown on the partner's website.

We receive no payment from airlines, the Greek airport authority HCAA, or any other institutional party. Practical information (schedules, public transport, terminal services) is provided purely for informational purposes with no commercial consideration.

Our editorial independence
